Mirna Wessels appointed Managing Director for Conexus

JOHANNESBURG – Conexus, award-winning outsourced call centre company, has announced that Mirna Wessels has been appointed new Managing Director of the company. Wessels was previously Business Strategy Director at Synovate in South Africa, a top ten global research company.

“We’re very pleased that Mirna has accepted this position,” states Jake Orpen, former Managing Director at Conexus. “Mirna has over 15 years of experience and all the skills, passion and hard working attitude to make a success of her new role.”

Wessels replaces Jake Orpen who established Conexus 6 years ago. Orpen has resigned to pursue new ventures.

Wessels’ strengths lie in her Information Technology and Operational background. These strengths help drive the business and solutions all the way from project to financial management. Strategy has been a key focus for Mirna within Synovate (Conexus is a fully-owned subsidiary of Synovate) and over the last 15 years she has developed many relationships at all levels of the business that will assist her and the Conexus team locally and globally. Mirna brings with her a wealth of knowledge from within the business.
