Conexus BEE credentials were audited by EmpowerDEX – An Economic Empowerment Rating Agency.

Conexus was evaluated as a QSE (Qualifying Small Enterprise).

EmpowerDEX allocated a Contribution Status of LEVEL EIGHT CONTRIBUTOR.

The rating certificate & report is an independent opinion based on the verification, validation and analysis completed during January 2007.

Conexus is committed to the principles & spirit of Black Economic Empowerment and is actively developing plans for improvement.

The way forward

BEE procurement targets will remain a future priority for Conexus. Other core focus areas are employment equity at a Manager Controller level; In addition, Conexus will also strengthen its training provision for black employees via the Conexus Academy and other SETA approved courses , with an emphasis on Contact Centre skills and via Learnerships. Conexus will also continue to concentrate its Corporate Social Responsibilities by supporting relief efforts by organizations such as Ekukanyeni. Ekukhanyeni is involved in a number of community-based projects that focus on sustainability as well as outreach and relief. They have been in operation since 2005 offering a range of support for individuals living with HIV/AIDS as well as being responsible for catalyzing projects that build community values such as the affirmation of life, design and sustainability.
